We have just landed in Singapore. Have 7 hour layover before flight to Kathmandu. Our flights were all on time and pleasant. Food on Singapore airlines is very good. Some of us even got some zzzzzs. More later...

Oct 30 - Leg 1, LAX
Got to DIA at 6:30 am. Bags are on way to Nepal. We made it through security just in time for last boarding call for our 8:30 am flight to LAX. Somehow our Singapore tickets couldn't be handled by United, so we have to wait in line here at LAX for boarding passes to Singapore.
After 45 minutes we are free to get some lunch at the food court at the Tom Bradley terminal. At 12:30 pm we proceed to gate. Security is very slow. It is 1:04 pm when we reach our gate. Flight will board in 30 minutes. We fly to Narita (Tokyo) then on to Singapore. We get to Singapore early in the am of Saturday. Next blog will be from Singapore.

Fun start
Well our start was interesting. Cab was a no show at 5 am. Big thanks to Carol next door for offering a ride to park and ride. Blogging from the hwy to DIA!
